Our doors will be opening again on Saturday 4th July at 5.30pm. You will notice a few differences this year and we wanted to make sure you were prepared for your visit.
Please come with patience and kindness and in return we will do our absolute best to give you the Seven Stones Inn experience you love so much.
While we settle in to the new normal, we are keeping things small and simple. Following government guidance, we are taking inside table bookings for a maximum of 8 people from 2 households. Outside tables of up to a maximum of 6 are on a first come first served basis, but please, always wait to be seated. To make a reservation please call 01720 423777.
When booking a table at least one member of the party will need to give their full name and contact details to ensure co-operation with the Track & Trace system. Anyone who has not booked will be required to give their details on arrival to the team member greeting you.
Walk-ins are always welcome but please be aware if we are full you will have to queue outside – whatever the weather!
You will be greeted by one of our friendly team at the door, if you happen to arrive at the same time as other guests, please be patient and use the social distancing markers outside the pub. We will try to seat you as quickly as possible, please remember we are doing our best.
All service will be table service, please do not approach the bar. Throughout your visit, from drinks to settling your bill, we will come to you. Contactless payments are encouraged but we will still accept cash.
Doors and windows will be kept open to aid good air circulation, and the blankets have gone into hibernation so it might be worth bringing that extra layer.
Furniture has been rejigged to adhere to social distancing guidelines, this is where our small obsession with settles comes into its own and will create little snugs for each table.
There will be a one-way system through the pub for guests to avoid pinch points, and one toilet cubicle will be open, on a one in one out system. This is to ensure our increased cleaning schedule can be carried out efficiently.
Hand sanitiser will be available at the entrance to the pub and toilet, please use it!
Small and simple is the menu initially, then each week as numbers grow and our understanding of, and ability to provide you with a safe drinking and dining experience improves, our menu will increase and diversify.
We have pared back our range of drinks to highlight the amazing island grown talent around us. There will be your basic drink and then the island variety, as we believe this season it is more important than ever to buy local and support our creative neighbours. If we can source it from the island we will and keep your money in the very local economy.
The view has not changed but we have been tinkering away during lockdown. Most of the work is going on behind the scenes but the biggest difference you will see is the new digger & granite installation we have – unfortunately the digger decided to go into its own lockdown and hasn’t received the news we are opening up again so remains sleeping in the field. Once it wakes, we will continue with our landscaping creating more space for you to enjoy that spectacular view.
We are looking forward to welcoming new and familiar faces back to the pub.
